Steve Herman (MCCSC Chairman), Terry Kirkpatrick, and Bill Willis (MCCSC Vice-Chairman) [L-R] are displaying a brand new Weber Grill and a restored Civil War musket, two of the many items that will be put up for auction by Bill Baker on September 16th.
One of the exciting auction items at the MCCSC (The Complex) September 16th event will be a one-hour flying experience for two with Dr. Reggie Young on his Cessna 182 Single Engine airplane over Buggs Island, Lake Gaston, and Kerr Dam: (L-R) Peggy Bowlin, Ann Redd (Olaf!!), Steve Herman (of the MCCSC) and Dr. Reggie Young._______________The Clarksville Enrichment Complex
opened its doors to the public in May 2010. The culmination of a vision and a lot of hard work by an all-volunteer group of local citizens, The Complex
is a modern, 15,000 sq-ft, state-of-the-art facility that houses new and expanded community services for Mecklenburg County, VA and the Clarksville area in particular.
Founded in 2005 as a nonprofit 501c(3) organization, the Mecklenburg County Community Services Corp (MCCSC)
funded this major addition to the community by federal and local grants, a USDA Rural Development Loan, and by generous contributions and gifts from the public through its One Hundred Club memberships and various fundraising events throughout the year.
